[year two T^T was gonna just copy and paste what we wrote last year (ohoho) but it's vanished! so i'm writing it out again, just for you. and cause i wanna get a move on cause there 'asn't been much onlineage today D : < ]

The students enetered the great hall, their excitement barely kept under controll by the teachers that continuosly reminded them to calm down. The ceiling was a spectacular as ever, a cloudless black canvas strewn with the milky way. The first years would gasp when they entered for their sorting. But the second years and others who where returning to Hogwarts managed not to exclaim. The enchanted candles floated above their heads and the ghosts drifted through walls and statues giving their greetings to the students as they took their seats, still buzzing with excitement and happiness at seing their friends again.

Kyli grinned around at May Leo Cenizo and Kik who were seated near her. SHe looked hungrily at the empty plates, and wondered how long before food time.

[so, are the first years in the hall yet? I'll say yes...]

Kizette pushed the two fothem forward, before they were cut off by strangling first years. And then they linked arms, Auria in the middle, with a strange feeling of imprisonment, and the others either side. Kizette grinned, 'I can't beleive we're finally here'. The three of them roamed their eyes across the four house table, hungry with anticipation. Auria felt a shiver of excitement at the house colours, especially the silver and green of slytherin. Although of course she wouldn't be in slytherin.

'too right! why would anyone want to be in slytherin'
'yeh, eugh!'

Auria swished her robes, studying closely the way they swished in curves.

"hoping that if you swish hard enough you'll leave the ground altogether?"

The speaker was a small red haired boy with fiery eyes, and a casual grin. Auria didn't know what to say. She regarded him self-consciously, feeling stupid. Then, for want of anything else to do, she turned away.

Darius allowed a small frown to wrinkle his grin, then smoothed it over. You got all sorts. HE peered aorund feeling vaguely out of place with all these cloaks. But then, security wasn't exactly something he longed for. He peered up at the teacher's table, roving his over those that were to be his instructors in the art of magic. He tried to sum them up, wondering whcih ones would be worth listening to... and which ones would not.

May smiled happily as she watched the first-years file into the hall, whispering excitedly to one another, "Awww, they're so sweet! I'm sure we weren't that small last year!" Leo grinned at her comment, shaking his head slightly.

Frances smiled nervously at Tanuka [sp?] who was walking next to her [soz for pp], "Oh wow, look at the ceiling!"

Claire squealed with exctiement when they entered the hall, grabbing Tara's arm (who has like, magically (LOL) become her new best friend!), "OMG Look! Look at the ceiling! It's so pretty!"

Robyn was bouncing slightly and whispering excitedly to Jake about how amazing the ceiling was and how much fun she was going to have at Hogwarts. She walked behing Lucas and Kye.

Tenuka [with an 'e'] replied 'Yeah! I heard about it, but it's fantastic to actually see it!'

Cenizo followed most of the first years gazes to the ceiling. He thought back to when he'd been standing there and how nervous he's been. He smiled, empathising slightly.

Donna was whispering to Elsie and Tobi about how small and cute the new first years were.

Jack was 'twiddling his thumbs' [not really]. He was being bored.

Morfin watched as the stool was placed down and the hat picked up. The hall quietened to a hush.

Zada was still whispering quietly to Carm and Marie. [who are in the same year, cus there aren't many S2 girls]

Robyn watched with 'unhidden' excitment as the hat was picked up. She tugged at Jake's arm. 'It's starting!' she whispered. 'We're actually gonna get sorted!'

[okay! before we go much further, we need to sort out who's going where and make everything eeeeven in the years. we seem to have much more boys than girls being played, but thats ok, we can just play the guys when we need them.

so, from what i've gathered.

tara and claire will be in the same house as the tart group.
tenuka, sophia and meally will all be in gryfindor.
lucas and kye... i have no clue about.
two of the triplets will be in one house and another in a different house
and Darius 'Robyn' and Jake will.. be in slytherin?]

Tobi and Elsie giggled with Donna about the little first years.
"I feel smaaall!!!" Tobi moaned, being only about an inch taller than most of them.
Elsie patted him on the head. "Don't worry Tobes. You'll grow honey."
He sighed and then gasped as he caught sigh of the shorter ones.
"Oh look! Some diddy ones! Blessss! -gasp!- look at that one with the long hair! It's like, down below his shoulders! Cuh- razy."

Tara nodded eagerly. "it's like, soooo pretty, those candles are great! Omg! That ghost just went through a statue! Lol!!" She giggled.

Meally gawped at the ceiling, for once quiet - bewildered by the huge hall. Seeking comfort, she magnetised herself to Sophia, "hey!" she called, excited but quieter than normal.

Sophia shrugged her shoulders up and grinned. "Hey! Ohmigoshi'msoexcited- imeani'veheardaboutmagicandallthatbutineverimaginedthati'dactually

Meally grinned, understanding perfectly since she came from a family where many people attempted to express half and horus of opinions in ten seconds, "isn't it just awesome!" she squaeked.
