Auria looked across to two loudly giggling girls, feeling a distinct jar of surrealism at how two girls could be so confident in such a strange new surroundings. Then, a little way down the table, her eyes snagged on a trio of swaggering boys, older than herself, sitting jauntily on the benches disuccing loudly and authoritively, with a manner of importance no-one else on the table seemed to command. The middle one, blatantly the ring leader truned, and caught her eyes on him. She turned away immediately, threatened by his imposing stare, and began glancing at the rest of the table. it seemed split into giggling, tarty girls, and withdrawn dark eyed guys, with hostile and suspicious expressions. The only noticeable exceptions being the gang she'd just observed, and a sulky looking boy, hunched at the end of the table. No-one seemed to be talking to him, and he looked as if someone had poured a bucket of water over him. She wondered who...

Cenizo= Cenizo was making swirly patterns on the table with some spilt pumpkin juice and his wand.
Donna= Donna was still talking very quietly to Tobi and Elsie about how tiny the first years were.
Jack= Jack was sitting opposite Anya, having just stopped talking to listen to Thornton's 'speech'. [Everyone's forgotten her cus jess hardly cums on any more )=] He felt someone's eyes on him and turned to look down the table. It wasn't any of Jaxio's crew, nor any older students. He looked right at the other end to where the year one's were sitting. One of the girls was talking excitedly to the rest of them. He breathed out, then saw the one looking at him. He tilted his head very slightly to the side, then turned back to face Anya.
Morfin= Morfin looked towards Thornton as he started his speech. But then it no longer held any interest, and his eyes scanned the rest of the hall. They rested for a second on the Gryffindor table, and Kik. Then they flitted away again.
Robyn= Robyn was as Jack had noticed earlier talking excitedly, but in a hushed voice to everyone who was listening to her.
Tenuka= Tenuka listened to Thornton smiling. She was at Hogwarts. And in Gryffindor as well!
Zada= Zada was completely ignoring Thornton and was still gossiping to Carm and Marie. Thornton said the same speech every year. Why should she listen this year when she listened last year?
