Kyli was sitting in the common room with Sei as a stream of over-excited pink freaks trailed past, hanging onto each other's arms. Elsie and Charles were no exception. Eventually, the couples were slowly burnt at the hands of a very evil and demented Sei who wanted to toast marshmellows and couldnt be bothered to lean over to the fire and make it hot enough for toasting said marshmellow. . .spiffing left and so Kyli and Sei were seated in a valentines-free zone (aside from the pathetic tissue hearts floating in a lamented fashion around the room).

They are doing a history of magic homework project thing that is very monotonous, boring, painfully pointless etc etc.

Kyli groaned in despair at the history of magic project. "how impossible can homework get?" she wailed, "why would I know the particulars of a goblin minority revolution that occured one hundred years ago, and was ended in a week by getting all the opposition p[zz]ed!"

Sei sighed.
"Good point there. And the textbooks really aren't much help at all; all I can find is some random garble about Hy- Hyjivekia(?) and it's state laws which may have contributed to the uprising of the goblins."
But then he gave a small smile as he carried on reading. Only half a year ago he hadn't even known that goblins existed, but here he was now doing a history project on a revolution that they'd had.
"It's so crazy." He murmered as he flicked through the book for more information.

"crazy? Bloody impossible more like" moaned kyli- who, not being able to read minds, had thought he was refering to the work they had to do not the fact that they were doing it at all.
