He shrugged and feigned inocence with a joke:
"You say it like it's a bad thing. I'll go in ten minutes if these books prove to be utter rubbish."
He said levitating a book into his hand and flicking through the index.

Kylirolled her eyes, then leant forward and rested her head on top of her mass of parchemnt and books. She rubbed her eyes, and mumbled, "I hate history of magic"

"Mmm."
He agreed whilst chewing his lip.
"Oo I've got something." Bouncing forwards slightly whilst levitating a easy2write quill (the kind that pre/young primary schoolers use when learning to use a quill. XD) into his hands, he wrote down a few dozen lines of fairly useful information.
"There-"
He said, putting his quill back down and crossing his legs on the sofa.
"-that should be worth at least two marks."

Kyli grinned, "which is at last two marks more than this pile of cr[zz]" she said, indicating the sprawl of sheets in front of her with an exasperated hand.

"well don't let on to kik that you've got anything- or else you'lll not get the whole thing back until she's commited it to memory" kyli laughed, then slammed her hand down on the books. "we really are going to have to go to the library, aren't we?" she said, somewhat reluctantly.

He gave her a sympathetic look, she really seemed the type who'd want to spend as little time as possible in a library and only then if she was forced on pain of death. [. . . lol]
"Well how about if I go and get a few of the books that look the most useful and then bring them back here. You can see if there's any more of those half useful points in this one." He said hading her the book.

Kyli gave him a smile, "awww, thank you!" she said, glad that she wasn't going to have to take the trek down to the library.

He grinned back. "It's fine. Besides Tobi said he'd be dressed in a pink tux, and if I take the route that's on the balcony above the great hall I might be able to see it. But he'll probably be camoflaged in all the pink. Ah well." Getting up from the sofa he stretched and waved a hand. "See you in ten-ish minutes, depending on whether the library have any helpful books."
He left.
[time of departure: 9:15, lol i'm too high on blackcurrants covered in yogurt!]
