Elsie and her mateys came into the common room, she flomped down into a chair and sighed.
"OohmehGAWD! today was sooo hard. I can't face another whole half a year of it. Can we kinda- like, skip it with a time machine or something!!?"
"Totally! That'd be ah-may-zing!" Piped up a couple of second years with uncannily blonde hair.

She groaned. "Don't even start me on flying! The proffesionals are too good."
Sighing she pulled herself back together and smiled. "Well anyway, it's the end of the day so that's a plus! Aaaand, apparently the weathers gonna be pretty wonderful tomorrow and for the rest of the week, so we can hang out in the sun!"
There were squeals about going swimming from amongst the other tarts.
[are elsie and charlie-boy still dating? or was it just for the ball, or has he still got to ask her out?]

"oh yes, isn't it just perfect- lying in te sun is sooooo in!" mimicked Kyli in a falsetto voice, scowling at Charles as she moved past the group to sit down in her corner.

Sei was trying to think of a good excuse to go practice dowsing for half an hour or so. He chewed his lip thoughtfully and tapped the inkless tip of his quill on the busy pages of the textbook he was looking in to get some homework answers. There was also something that had been biting at the back of his mind for a few days now that he wanted to confirm.
Elsie sneered back at Kyli and someone cracked a joke about purple, green and socks that fitted an elephant. (no, im not sure where that came from either)
Sei gave up on the book and half-heartedly tossed it onto the table.
"Well that was useless. I'm going to the library, see if there's anything helpful in there I can use."
He said standing up and packing a few books in his bag.

Kyli looked up at Sei when he stood up, "do you want me to come?"
just as she said this, she remembered something from Mum and Dad's conversation the other night, "erm, Sei, you come from a muggle background, right?"

He was a litle taken back by being asked if he wanter her to come along. And even more so by her next question. But didn't show it too much.

Sei frowned slightly.
"You sure you're not on them?" He muttered before shifting slightly to explain.
"Basically muggles use drugs for medicine mainly. Like spells- or potions even. Like little potion capsules. . . but sometimes we use them to feel happy. But it's really dangerous because they're. . unstable. A bit like a potion that might make you happy for a bit, but then wear off and do you a lot of harm."
He chewed his lip. "Why do you want to know?"
