In his sleep, Sei had walked down from the boys dormitories and ended up in the common room. Some of the furniture was singed slightly and yes, there was a painting, and yes, it was burnt to a crisp. The fire in the grate was quite fierce and sunlight was glowing faintly in the room through the red curtains, casting an almost crimson glow upon the whole scene. Next to the fire, curled up and seeming to have a very silent, but rapid, conversation in the deepness of his sleep. Was Sei. The only difference was, the intricate crimson marks covered his skin, some of them where overlayed with black line circles of varying size and others had pure white lines cutting through the red. In the darkest shadows, made more so and almost invisible by the person sitting in them, was the same hooded figure from the night before. He was sitting on a table, watching as Sei continued the sub-consious conversations with the Vanguines. At this moment, there was nothing he could do but hope for outside interferrence. Non ancient, of course, that would be punishable. But he was there, just in case.

When Kyli came down the common room, her head was partially in her hands. She tried to forget the dream she had just had. It just didn't make sense... As she lifted up her head, and stared around the common room, she noticed the singed furniture with alarm. what had happened. When she saw Sei, she stopped dead. FOr a moment, she was transfixed, horrorfied by the markings all over his body. The same as those that had come before. But why had they come again? what was the matter with sei?
She broke out of the trance, and dashed over to him. "sei!" she said, "sei, are you alright?"

The shadowy figure drew back slightly, so as to not be noticed, letting the darkness cloak them further.
Sei frowned in his sleep and hissed something in the language of the ancients. Little balls of fire appeared across the floor, but did nothing but float there for a moment. Dark shadows covered them over before they spun up into small whirlwinds and burst into even smaller little splashes of water which sizzled up into nothingness before they got within a centimetre of the floor.

Kyli stared in alarm at the fire balls, "sei! wake up!" she marched over and placed a hand on his shoulder...

[vision time. yay]
A large field with singed grass spread out in front of her vision. Dark shadows were whirling in the sky and lightning was clapping ever few seconds. It was a warped world. Strange yet intruguing. The scene suddenly changed to the third. The smell of burning tyres and metal filled the air. Next the scenery came. An inclosed space. The reeling of restriction. Screams from outside. It all went silent as the faint strains of a lulaby echoed out over the stillness. The car interior vanished and fell away into air rushing past at an incredible speed, the sense of impending doom, someone was squeezing tight, like in a hug. But then the ground met them. Blackness for only a moment before electricity sparked strongly across the world, a woman screamed but that faded into darkness. The darkness became liquid almost as if you could see into it. Then seemed to melt away into nothiness. The crimson patterns began to etch themseleves across sight, followed by the black circles, next the white lines, intersecting it, then ruby red splatters, then almost crystal like blocks, like clouds, but unlike them at the same time. This flashed away and a robed figure, not hooded this time, in a completely white robe stood on a hillside, it was singed, like the rest of the scenery. He turned to face vision. "Sei. . . don't. It's me, athair. The landscape swept away leaving only the figure. It was Teadoir. They were speaking in Irish now, but it was understandable all the same. ". . Dad. . ." Sei mumbled. "Dont leave. . ." "I wont. But you've got to promise me." "I promise." "Dont, trust-" The vision began to jam as though it where a tv programme and the signal was being lost. The hooded figure from before joined the vision. "Vanguine! Ve te kaestra!" He hissed. Teadoir turned to face him. "Cocul. Nu cavate?" "Estra!" Teadoir shrugged and gave him an icy look before disapearing. The crimson patterns covered the vision again and the voice of the hooded figure spoke. "Wake up, now. NOW!!! Don't be so lazy. You have a mess to clean, and an un-centred to explain this to."
Sei sat bolt upright, coughing.

He rubbed his forehead with the heel of his hand and attempted to stand, he fell over and grabbed the sofa for suport. He steadied himself and looked at one of his hands. "Nva. . . Kes-ne etrei." He paused and shook his head "Ja tse, no, this can't be still." He looked up at where the figure hid in the shadows. It stood and crossed the room to him, flicking a small crimson glow at Kyli which made her unable to move or talk. "Disappointing. But it will be enough. Never use what they have taught you." "What are you? What the hell is all this!?" "This is Sei." "I'm not talking about the burnt stuff, I want to know-" "And you will. Give it time. I have arranged for, what you call a holiday, for you of course. There will be no more interference until Rikkara has found you." "Rikkara?" "Another thing you will learn in time." You could just about make out a small smirk under the hood. "Now, I must part. But to prove my intentions I shall assist you one last time before I leave." He flicked his hand to the one side and made a small flowing gesture with it. The furniture restored itself and with another crimson glow the rest of the room was back to normal except for the painting. "This seems to be becoming a run. Perhaps you are more Theos than Rikkara is willing to admit. " He sounded amused. "And now-" He made another gesture over Sei and the marks disappeared into his skin. He flicked a finger downwards and the painting restored itself with a crimson flash. The figure tipped its head to one side slightly as if in thought. "No, I think that would be a little unfair." He mused and made another small hand gesture in the direction of Kyli, the spell broke. "Good bye." And then in a small swirl of dark shadows he had vanished.

Kyli looked at Sei, worried. "so what he said about those people being in your dreams was true" she mused. But it wasn't important. Lots of things were important; like what the dream had been about, and what the hooded man had meant when he'd said sei's name... And why did he keep saying Rikkara and Theos? did he mean Raika and Te? She looked back at Sei, trying to work out what he was thinking.

Sei gave a slightly annoyed sigh. "Can we, not talk about that?" He struggled for words. "I just want to forget that dre- wait. you saw that dream?" He said, suddenly sounding concerned.

"I didn't mean to!" said Kyli, "I honestly didn't... I just touched you, and I was there, in your dream..."
