Kyra sat in the classroom. She heard the mindless chatter. She saw the blackboard. But her ears didn't listen, her eyes didn't look.
The reason being they didn't want to. She was beyond sad. She was just feeling pointless. She didn't understand why she was still there.
<Who are these people? What I am I doing? Where am I going? Why am I here?> was all that her pretty head thought

Jack was sitting behind her, he watched her back when his quill paused in scratching on the parchment. He was about to get her attention when Anya asked him a question on what the sixth question was going on about, and he turned to explain to her.

And then it hit her! Why did she have to act? She didn't have to and she saw no reason to. She was just tired and empty. "I need the loo" and she got up and left, it didn't really matter what the teacher said anyway

Jack watched her leave. Something was obviously up. He knew that much, but Kyra wasn't talking to him, and he couldn't figure out what was wrong. The teacher had also watched her leave, worried. Jack stood up, and the teacher nodded at him. Permission to leave. He walked out the classroom and saw Kyra disappearing round the corner and followed.

She walked round a couple of corners and noticed how she needed to sew on a button on her sleeve. Maybe it fell off in the common room? But she didn't remember noticing a lack of button in her first lesson. "Oh my god!!" Kyra screamed "why should i care about stupid buttons and people who don't like me!?" She started running then towards the bathroom and started to laugh even though there were tears in her eyes

Jack followed the manic laughter, worried. Should he go get a teacher, or follow Kyra and try and sort it out? Well he'd never been good at sorting things out, but he could tell that this was something that Kyra wouldn't want the teachers to know, so he just continued walking, following where he thought she had walked off to.
