So, trailing along a London street with nothing but a slight bulge in her coat to indicate the ball of fluff that was snoozles. The breeze ruffled Kyli's hair, currently long, reddy brown layers that hung against a grey cardigan. Her shoes, proudly choosen because of the horrorfied look they have spruned on Elsie's face, felt softly on the pavement. There weren't very many people around, there wasn't much to see in this area. Just a couple of ancient bookshops and the odd antiques store. Kyli's house was a few blocks away, the back entrance to Diagon Allley being just a street ahead. "ouch!" She turned, irratated to face the person who'd just bumped into her. He was strikingly dressed, black jeans, and black top, splashed with red and white spelling out some random unrecognisable word. His black hair was spiked up, streaked with red and round his neck was a black silver-studded necklace.
"Sorry," he said, his voice apologetic but at the same time disinterested. Kyli drew back her shoulders, affronted. 'stupid, rude...' She said nothing, but glared angrily at him.
He held his hands up in mock apology, "what's the problem, I said sorry didn't I? Geesh"
"you realise you're still in the way?" Kyli said, irratably. Honestly, didn't muggles know any manners?
With a mock bow, the guy stepped back, then stood up again to look her in the face. "happy now?"
Kyli said nothing, inside fuming that she couldn't find the words to express her irratation. "thanks" she said stepping pointedly around him, although there was plenty of room to walk straight.
As she walked away he watched her with a superior sneer on his face, and she tossed her hair self-righteously.
