[sorry for the random title, I love that song, it makes me cry and think of sandra]
May felt like throwing something. Why did no one ever tell her anything? There was something wrong with Sei, and had been for ages, but no one was telling her what was going on, Cenizo had had some sort of disturbing dream, but wouldn't tell her what it was, and now he'd gone and upset one of her closest mates and wouldn't let her help. She wanted to go up and check on her anyway but didn't think it would be a good idea. She stormed across the room and flopped angrily down onto a sofa next to Kyli, "Anyhting big and hugely important that you want to make obvious is killing you and then not tell me?" she spat, unsure as to why she was shouting at Kyli but too annoyed to think about stopping.

"well I'm not going to tell you when you're in this mood" said Kyli, but not angrily.

May sighed frustratedly, "Yeah, I know, I'm sorry, I just sometimes feel like no one ever tells me anything" she told her, in a slightly whiny tone of voice.

"and sometime it feels like you have a desperate desire to know everything" Kyli didn't want to be mean, but May had to accept that people had a right to privacy, "stop jumping to conclusions and making it out like we're all hiding things from you- life isn't a big conspiracy."

"No, it isn't," May replied, slightly angrily, "But it's not perfect either, and no one seems to want to admit that. No one ever talks to me, about anything! I don't expect people to tell me their deepest darkest secrets but if sometimes, people would talk to me about the fact tht their pissed off with one of our techers etc it would be so much nicer. People don't try and stop me knowing everything but they don't tell me either! Sometimes it would be nice to have a conversation that has a little more substance than simply, 'I'm stuck on the homework, will you help?' or 'how do you think I should wear my hair?'! It's like no one trusts me enough to tell me anything!"

Kyli looked at May, sort of shocked, "we talk about more than just homework!" she protested. She studied May's face, and realised that her friend was being serious. 'why on earth does she think that we don't tell her anything?!'

May raised her eyebrows disbelievingly, her eyes watery, 'Yeah, we do, but it's always me telling you what's going on, never the other way round!"

"what are you talking about!?" Kyli was beginning to get annoyed with May.
