Kyra tapped her quill onto the ink pot staring out into space and wondered why she was spending more than an hour wondering over Fire Porcupine Quills and the effect they have in a healing potion.
Kye [yes he lives] slouched into the common room after having to do a particularly nasty detention which involved slime and toilets.
Kyra looked up at the intruder of her daze 'Stupid 1st year- no worries'
Kye looked back at the girl who seemed to have most of the people on Slytherin jump through hoops for- she wasn;t that great. 'She's probably really ugly when she takes off her make up. She's taken off her makeup. Darn'
"What?" She fired at him noticing he was staring way to long- and it wasn't the 'Oh mygosh I adore you will you please be my goddess' type of stare she was used to- it was almost critically
Kye shrugged 'Gosh what a grouchy bitch- she probably ran out of shampoo or something. Wait her hairs wet- she had a shower. Darn'

Auria was sat in the common room, head bowed over her work. She tried to ignore the other people in the common room, she felt so stupid beside them. They all seemed so - carefree? relaxed? In control. At the thought of the word, she felt her sisters breaking the barriers she enforced, and floating into her mind.
'auria?' 'oh mi gawd, hav you only just woken up or something?' 'yeh you've like, totally been dead for aaaaaages' 'sorry guys I-' 'you'll never guess what, you know that evil horrible potion teacher?' 'Drint's not that-' 'well he's only gone and got fired!' 'What?' 'I know, shocking isn't it?' 'We heard it off some hufflepuff - so it must be true' 'can't say I'm that bothered' 'yeh he was a jerk' 'I thought he was alright really...' 'well you would say that wouldn't you?' 'yeh, little miss slytherin' Auria rubbed her temples 'guys, I've got to work' 'ooooh, how about we meet up in the library?' 'well, I was kinda going to-' 'see you there!'
Auria sighed outwardly, hiding it from her mental stream. She laid her head on the desk, debating whether she could be bothered to leave. Maybe she could pretend she fainted or something like that...

¬¬¬¬¬Robyn is sitting at one of the tables in the common room working on a piece of Charms homework that doesn't make sense. She is sitting opposite someone doing Herbology homework.
[just pronounce the words how you think they should sound, but the h's at the start are silent, Hta would sound like a cross between tah and thah, p's at the start of a word are also silent, it's a bit confusing, but it sounds right . . . ]
Robyn dropped her quill in annoyance. She leant back in her chair. "Hta hte ehll!" she muttered. She saw the girl opposite her, look up. "Oyu psaek Kainnyl." the girl stated. "Ohw!?" "Hum . . ." 'I shouldn't've said that, Varen's going to- wait, who cares about Varen! Robyn picked at the fingernails on her left hand. "Hwo od oyu owkr ofr!" the girl said uttered menacingly, eyes focused back on her work. “Em! Hwta bauot oyu.” Robyn replied. The girl looked at the ceiling, then, having come to a decision, shrugged, “Osrry. I aws rwnog ot asy htta.” Her words flicked back into English as she flicked hair out of eyes. “I am Carm.” She said smiling. “Robyn.” Robyn replied warily.
---
Carm raised her left hand, the heel facing forwards, fingers curled. Peace. Robyn did the same. “I thought I would be the only one at Hogwarts who could speak Kainnyl.” Carm said. “That is why I assumed you worked for someone. Sorry.” Robyn shrugged. “Well, we know what assuming does . . . Anyways, how do you know Kainnyl?” “I was born there and lived there until a couple of years ago. What about you?” Carm asked. “I’ve got relatives there.” “I thought you were a mud-, uhm, muggle born.” Robyn shrugged. “Guess not. I’ve know about magic for ages. I never knew about wands though. I thought everyone used their souls. There’s been no mention of any of that here. It’s totally different.” “Yes, when I first came I was like, hta hte ehll! So are your relatives magicians?” “Yeah. They’re one of the oldest magic families. Their descendants have gone to KAM since the very beginning.” Carm nodded. “Do you know any stuff?” she asked smiling slightly. Robyn nodded. “A small amount. You?” Carm smirked. “I don’t want to sound, hum, what’s the word . . . rbga, ockcy?” “Smug? Boastful? Arrogant? Overconfident? Brash-?” “Yeah okay. No need.” Robyn smirked. “Anyways, ¬¬know any good attacks?” Robyn smirked again. “A couple.” “Hmm.” Carm looked around the common room. It was packed, and the noise level was high. “So,” she said in hushed tones, “You tailing anyone?” Robyn leant back in her chair. “Might be. You?” “Two. One’s a daughter of an old foe.”” “Mine’s a twin. Your other?” “A triplet. New.” ¬¬Robyn’s eyebrows rose.
---
After much more chatting, and a few homework hints, Carm tried to brave the first question that had come into her head. “So, who do you work for?” “If I told you that, I’d have to kill you.” [ xD ] Robyn told her seriously. Carm raised an eyebrow and crossed her arms. “Is it someone bad then?” “Depends which side your on.” Was Robyn’s reply. Carm exhaled loudly. “Who are you? Really.” “Why should I tell you? I’ve only just found out that someone else in this stupid school speaks Kainnyl, and that’s the place where I befriended the least trustworthy person I’ve ever met. You’re from the same place. For all I know; you could be his daughter.” “I am older than you. That is not probable.” “Bugger off.” Robyn replied sulkily. “I can help you if you tell me who you are.” “Not here.”
