"Right team, we know we can do this!" the Hufflepuffteam were standing in a circle around Luka, as he gave his traditional pep talk. "We're going to hve to work hard to beat Slytherin, but we've easily got the best team- we can beat this lot"
"We'd better" scowled Lilly, "I can't stand losing to those jerks"
"Exactly!" said Luka, enthusiatically, "Let's just go out there and play like Wimbourne Wasps!"
"They suck!" hissed Nell.
"What are you on about?! they'e awesome!" cried Sophie.
"They're terrible!" Mark cut in,
"They're not!"
"THEY ARE!"
"Magpies all the way!!!!"
"THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE A PEP TALK! NOT A FREAKING DEBATE!!" roared Luka. The others shut up.
"Magpies suck". But before Nell could correct Sophie, a loud whistle was heard.
"Right guys- this is it!" said Luka, and they made their way out onto the pitch.
Narik walked into the Slytherin changing rooms. "Right guys." he said cheerfully. "We've got a brilliant team this year. We're going to get the good head start that we missed last year, and kick Gryffindor's puny arses!"
Everyone cheered loudly smiling. [cept jaxio, who was smirking] Robyn grabbed her broom and muttered a few words. It shuddered slightly, then relaxed in her grip. She nodded, satisfied, then smiled again. She was going to be playing Quidditch again! Brilliant.
The whistle blew. "Okay everyone, grab your brooms, and lets go out and win!" They all stood up and walked to the door.
The door opened magically and the team walked across to the centre of the pitch. "Captains, shake hands!" ordered Madam Pinch. Narik walked up to Luka. They shook.
"Everybody mount your brooms!" Pinch shouted. The Slytherin team mounted, flying up in a blur of green, (Robyn being the fastest) were quickly followed by the Hufflepuffs. Kay flew as fast as she could to the goal posts, and the game commenced.
