[yh I know we're supposed to be doing this quidditch thing, but since that hasn't started, I'm skipping to the end of term in the meantime]
Kyli slammed the lid of her suitcase shut. All packed and ready to go... the vile bottle stared at her from her chest of drawers. She knew she had to pack it - mum would go mental if she didn't... but something stayed her hand. She found herself reluctant to even go near it, let alone drink it each night as she was forced to. Perhaps if she forgot to pack it, accidentally left it behind...?
But no, Mum would notice. Kyli sighed; whatever she tried, however desperately she evaded the wretched thing, whatever route she chose to escape it, mum would be there, relentless in her determination to have the 'medication' taken. unless... what if Mum didn't find it? Kyli leapt forward, for once controlling her disgust of the bottle enough to snatch it up roughly, then surveyed her room, her face so set with determination she looked almost mad. Now, where to hide it?
Kyli crawled over her bed which had been neatly made ready for her term's departure, and fished down the side, squezing her arm against the wall. She pushed her knees back, and the bed scraped along the floorboards as it moved away from the wall, leaving a medium sized gap - enough for her to carefully lift the plaster from the wall, revealing a tiny cave. A photo spilled out and she hurriedly shoved it back , flinging the bottle in with it. Then, carefully, she replaced the plaster, and climbed off the bed to shunt it back into place. Just as she was flicking a few specs of palster form beneath her nails, the door was flung open and meally burst in.
"we have to go now!" she sung, theatrically, flinging her arms wide for effect. Kyli rolled her eyes, and then picked up her case, sighing. All the same, by the time she had reached the front door, the prospect of returning to school and seeing all her mates again had taken effect, and she couldn't help grinning.
