aaaaand then, with a big drumroll! Elsie entered the common room giggling away with a couple of second years about the latest gossip. She spotted Kyli and bounced over.
"Hi guys!" She said with a big smile, she flicked a bit of hair behind her shoulder.
"You must be Charles right? Kyli told me about you." She smiled and shook his hand before sitting down.

Charles shook it back, marvelling at Elsie's bouncy manner. She was so happy and cheery.
"Elsie- do you mind?" Kyli snapped.
Charles sensed that Kyli wasn't very keen on elsie. He wondered why...

She held her hands up in a 'dont have a go' manner.
"Ok. Ok! I'll go. ."
She looked at Sei and Kyli.
"I'll leave you two alone." She giggled before getting up. "Bye Charles, nice meeting you!" She smiled at him and walking off to talk to her new fifth year friend Felicity.

Sei shook his head.
"She's not a maths person I take it."
Then he smirked slightly. She was obviously talking about Kyli and Charlie.
"Oo. She's a bit evil. I take it you had a little talk to her last night as well" He said grinning and giving her a friendly punch.

kyli was releived to see that Sei had misinterpreted Elsie's comments. She punched him back, "yeh well, I think she's just smarting because I hit her in the face with hogwarts: a history"

Charles nodded, "I don't know why" he replied, so that Kyli couldn't hear, "she seems nice". He was still annoyed at the fact that he had faded into the background, but he didn't let on.
