Kyli paired up with May, who was rather quite at the moment [soz for powerplay, but Kyli couldn't go on her own!]. She pulled on her (green) dragonhide gloves and moved over to the crate. She picked up a blue-ish egg. They were always more interesting when younger...

"Eeh..." Cenizo said, reluctantly holding the egg. It was akay. Quite warm. Then suddenly, his egg jumped out of his hand and landed on the floor. "Argh!"

Kyli looked to see the pair of them, she noticed white patched appearing on the shell, and sparks beginning to splutter from it, "It's hatching" she cooed, enthralled

"of course you didn't" Kyli ran over to the egg, and rolled it gently, searching for the crack. Ah, there it was. She carefully moved the egg onto it's top, with the crack pointing towards her.
Proffessor Abdul watched her for a few seconds. "Well done Miss Jones, just the way to set the egg for hatching. Now if you don't mind, I think it would be safer if I took it from here." he waved his arm at the crowd, "go on, get back- if you value your skin"

Kyli sighed relunctantly, but did as she was told. She'd so wanted to see it hatch. She put her egg away, and headed up to the school for transfiguration
