Cenizo was still scribbling. So furiously in fact, that ink was splattering onto his nose, which was inches of the parchment. He really wanted to do well in COMC!

Proffessor Abdul noticed one of the students scribbling away. "this is a practical lesson," he repeated, wondering whether he'd actually said anything worth taking down. He'd given a brief introduction to COMC, discussed it's uses, and its extents. Then he'd introduced a salamander, and described how to hold one, along with a few other handling tips. How much was there to note down?

Cenizo contiued to scribble down what the teacher had said. Not until he re-read what he had written down, did he realise that the teacher wanted him to stop. 'Oops.'

"you'll need to put your quill away for the next bit Mr. Verum" Proffessor Abdul said, as he recognised the boy in front of him. "now, divide up into pairs, I want you to have a look at these" he pulled out a crate of salamander eggs. Kyli sat up a little.

The eggs were glowing red and yellow, "now, who can tell me something about salamanders eggs?"
Kyli's hand went up. "they're extremely hot, and they change colour as the salamander inside develops. They change from blue to red. When they're red, they are almost ready to hatch- and when they turn whit-ish, they are hatching."
Abdul beamed, "correct- 10 points for gryffindor" [am I allowed to give out house points? or is it just admin?]

'Go Kyli!' thought Kik. She didn't say anything to Cenizo about the ink on his nose, his ego had been battered too much lately.....
