Kyli raised her eyebrows "aren't you hungry?"

"No. . not really."
He put the muffin onto a side table next to the bed.

[last time he ate was two nights ago at dinner ^-^ piu! rofl]

Kyli sat down on a stool by his bed. Then she decided that made her look like consoling mother, and stood up. Then she realised that she was looking down on Sei. She sat down again.

"look Sei," she said, trying to not sound intrusive, "are you ok?"

He looked up, more than anything he looked lost.
"Yes, fine. Just, a little tired . . ."
He trailed off, his hand began to move to his neck but he stopped it half way and re-directed it to scratch the back of his neck.

Kyli shook her head, "two things; one, I know you're lying, and two, do you want me to push you or drop it" she sighed, "i'm really cr[zz] at this sort of stuff"

He smiled slightly, at least she was being honest. He still wasnt sure if he could trust her after the stunt she'd pulled with Elsie.
"I. .dont know. .If you, really want to know. .I can tell you. . But, it would be. . .nice, just to. .talk, about," He shook his head for lack of a better word. "Something else. Anything else."

"how about charms?" Kyli said brightly. She could find out what was wrong later, but she reckoned that Sei had probably had enough doom and gloom, what with falling off a broom, breaking half the bones in his body, meeting to evil twisted second years and having the whole school think he was in severe death risk.

"you missed a go lesson... sorta"

He smiled.
"Yeah? What did you do? Anything cool?"
He asked, eager to get away from the previous conversation.

[handy english teacher- - note the use of you class. . . this word distances Sei from his classmates and the rest of Gryffindor. . ]

"depends on who you are" kyli said, "kik had fun doing a levitation spell, Cenizo had fun doing about a trillion level 6+ spells, and I curled up in a corner and prodded a raven" she grinned, "how's your charm work?"

He shrugged.
"I've no idea."
With a thought he extracted his wand from his robe pocket that was hung up on a peg at the other side of the room. He twirled it slightly in his hands.
"Lets have a go then."
He smiled.
"What did you have to do?"
