Elsie, Tobi and Donna were still flicking lazily through the latest glossies, absorbing the fashion facts more carefully than they did even with schoolwork. The occasional gasp escaped their lips as they saw monstrous neglect or abuse of fashion, as featured this week!
Leo was still feigning interest in the divas and dorks of the wizzarding world, if only to avoid having to speak to May who was being rather clingy of late.
Kik was copying Cenizo's homework from while he was getting a muffin. Now sulking that Charlesies was spending so much time with Kyli.
Sei come down the stairs, carrying his schoolbag. He scanned the room for Kyli, aha, there she was. Walking over with a little smile, he set his bag down quietly on the sofa and sat on the seat next to it.
"Hey Kyli." He said after chewing his lip for a moment.

Kyli looked up, glad of the distraction from History of Magic homework. And thinking about Charles. With a mental warning to herself not to go there, she smiled at Sei, "oh, hey - you alright?" she said, noticing his hesitance with concern.

He chewed on his lip for a second longer.
"So, what're you doing?"

Kyli's face clouded, "history of magic" she said, "stupid charles has finished his and disappeared off, so I'm not only having to do it, but I'm having to do it by myself!!!"

He nodded, wondering whether to mention the awkward conversation he'd had a few minutes ago with Charles.
"Well, I still need to do mine."
He chewed his lip.
"D'you uhm... I mean- it's really hard don't you think."
He trailed off and rumaged in the bag, suddenly finding it incredibly fascinating.

"eurgh! It's impossible" Kyli wailed dramatically, "and I even tried to listen during the last lesson," she sighed, "still, at least I'm making some headway"

He replied and rubbed his face cheerlessly whilst mumbling. "Argh, I'm doing so badly this term."

Kyli patted him on the back sympathetically, "aww c'mon Sei, everyone's crap at History of Magic- 'cept Charles" she pouted. Then smiled, "maybe if we do it together we can get it done quicker - what've you done together"

He produced the notes he'd made in the lesson, a page of un-cohesive scrawl, that were clearly written by either an infant or someone with everything but the contents of the lesson on his mind.
Chewing his lip again, embarassed by the poor quality of notes.
"I couldn't really concentrate in the lesson." He made a pathetic excuse for his scribblings as he handed them over to her.

Kyli looked at them, frowning. The turned them upside down. Frowned some more. Then she turned them upside again. "erm, right. Can you read those?" she askedm ever so tactfully of course.
