Charles noticed Elsie twiddling her hair, and guiltiliy tried to pay her more attention, "so, erm, looking forward to the new year?" he asked, sounding interested.

Charles shrugged, trying to think of something interesting to say in reply, "Well I agree with you on the potions part, but I'm pretty much counting down those foreboding days I have left of tea-reading and foggy crytal balls" why was it so difficult to talk with Elsie? they were going out, and all they could talk about was lessons and school!

She pouted and spoke quietly so only he and Donna [who's seemingly invisable] could hear "I want Tobi back. It's boring here without him"
[hehehe! was gonna split em up, but i like charles to feel insignificant to other males, -evillaugh- yes charlie-boy, now even tobi is more loved than you!!]

[tobi is loveed by everyone!]
Charles was stung, but was sure she hadn't meant ot be nasty. "yeh, you're right." he agreed, trying to sound sympathetic, "how about we attempt to re-engage him in our discussion?" he suggested, knowing full well that it just wasn't cool to admit you were wrong.
