Students were mooshing around in large groups, chatting happily to each other, while the teachers stood in pairs, occassionally remembering to watch out for any disruptive behaviour.

[it's the winter one cus mel still hasn't come back and she told us not to do the winter holidays until she came back which is why we've stalled so long on this. this is the one in which raika and nova are going to announce their teaching places. it continues from supava]

Hanadi sipped at her butterbeer. "It seems like ages since we last hung out and chatted! How are peoples lives going!?"
Leon gave a cheesy response involving sunshine, lollipops and rainbows, at which she rolled her eyes.

Cenizo waited politely for a gap in which he could respond. When the time came, he smiled, his cheeks reddening slightly. "Everything's cool." he answered vaguely. "But I haven't sorted out any plans for the holidays, so expect an owl in, like, the first day." he explained, the blush leaving his cheeks.
[i've already started a longer post, so if you can get tobi to say something along the lines of yeah we should totally meet up cenizo, or something like that, that would be good cus then it would link more easily]

Tobi grinned, "Yeah, I don't think I've got much planned apart from the first couple of days... A house guest! Don't give me that look Leon!" A few friendly pokes were exchanged. "But yah, we should totally meet up sometime guys! There's some great gigs coming up, and it's always so smelly when you don't see everyone in the hols at least once!"

[Nova P.O.V] Nova was stood at the side with Raika, watching as students entered. It was the younger years who arrived earlier as the ball for them finished earlier than for the upper school. He recognised a couple of the first years from his past (or was it his future?) and marvelled at how young they looked compared to what he was used to. He spotted himself standing next to Tobi and he frowned slightly. He caught a sudden movement from Cenizo and followed his gaze to the entrance to the Hall. Nova couldn't help but shiver when he saw the person his younger self was looking at. ~x~ [Cenizo P.O.V] "Yeah! You guys could all spend a day at mine. My dad might even let you sleep over... Wouldn't it be cool if- " he stopped, staring over Tobi's shoulder and over towards the wooden doors. "I'll be back in a bit." he said, giving Tobi a goofy grin before striding purposely to the entrance hall, dress robes flapping behind him. He slowed his approach as neared the blonde girl standing between doors. "What's a pretty girl like you doing alone at a ball?" he asked, bowing elegantly. "Care for me to escort you the rest of the way Madame?" he inquired politely, while bringing her hand up to his lips, brushing them against her hand briefly. He was rewarded with a warm smile, light giggle and a faint blush. "I would appreciate it, kind Sir." Cenizo returned the smile and stood up fully, holding out his arm. The blonde girl took it and fluttered her eyelashes at him, while giving him a dazzling smile. Together, they walked back over to Cenizo's group of friends. ~x~ [Nova P.O.V] Nova shivered again, and looked away. 'Merlin! That's creepy... A younger Rosa!' |

Raika raised his eyebrows at his recently aquired teacher buddy, "You okay there? You went all cloudy and shivery." He took a swig of whatever he was drinking as he waited for a reply.
Tobi glowered as he spotted Rosa in her overly flouncy -and to be honest slightly silly looking- dress.
"God, what silly hair she has too." He muttered.
"Yeah, she must think she's gods gift to the world." Hanadi agreed, with a little more vehemence than was required as one friend backing up another.
"Calm down girls, try not to rip her up while Cenizo's still going out with her. Until they break up, she has gorgeous hair and IS gods gift to the world."
When Cenizo returned to where they had been standing, Tobi smiled -in that way only tarts would realise is fake- and said: "Woww, love your hair, Rosa!"
"Mm so pretty!" Hanadi enthused.

Rosa smiled fakely back. "Ta, darlings." she said sweetly, brushing a piece of fringe out of her eyes. "You're dress robes are decidedly delicious Toby." she complimented back, flicking the collar.

He smiled- again, fakely- "Thaanks, Doxy & Griffyn. I love what you've done with, this." He said gesturing to her dress.
Before any more knives could be subtly thrown, Leon changed the subject. "So! You know those two new teachers are having their formal introductions tonight, hey look, they're standing over there."
[Doxy and Gryffin, D&G, get it? I couldn't think of anything magical that sounded a bit like Gabanna]
