A couple of minutes after haematite.proboards80.com/index.cgi?board=office&action=display&thread=558Professor Hale motioned for Nina to push open the door that lead to the third year girls. On the door, in gold lettering, were the words ‘Year Three Gryffindor Girls: Donna Farrell, Rachel-Kyla Jones, Nina Kardakaz, Elsie O’Conner’ Nina knocked, out of politeness, and then entered the room. The Headmistress followed her into the room, smiling at the three, slightly surprised, girls in front of her. “Hello girls.” She started, smiling comfortingly. “This is Nina Kardakaz, she’s new this year. So I want you all to be extra nice to her please.” With this, she nodded to Nina. “Hi.” Nina muttered to the floor, not looking at any of the girls as her confidence left her. |

Donna stopped a sneer rising to her face. It wouldn't do to get a detention before lessons even started. Instead, she just stood silently next to Elsie thinking 'How did she get into Gryffindor?!'

She said in her sweetest voice, extending a hand for the girl to shake.

Nina's eyes snapped up as she recognised the tart train girl. [ XD ] She turned to look at Hale, who nodded encouragingly. Nina rolled her eyes and grudgingly shook the hand in front of her.
"Yeh. Likewise..." she muttered, somewhat darkly.
The Headmistress, who at this point, seemed to think that things were going pretty smoothly smiled at the girls, told them all to get a good nights sleep and that lessons would begin next week.

The second that Hale had left the room, Elsie withdrew her hand and wiped it on her skirt as though it had something nasty on it. Her eyes flicked over Nina quickly and she smiled with a disdainful sort of expression on her face.
"Well," She said, folding her arms smoothly. "I guess you're welcome to Gryffindor. You don't look.. too, dazed.. so I guess you're a transfer student."
A small smile, welcoming some form of civil response, appeared on her lips.

[ btw, Nina doesn't have a very pronounced accent, but it's still there a little bit ]
Nina placed a hand on her hip, raised an eyebrow at Elsie and replied shortly: "Yeah."

Elsie could see this conversation wasn't going anywhere fast so she nodded and diverted her interest back to Donna and the magazine they had been looking at.

Nina gave a half shrug, not disappointed at all that Elsie was deciding to ignore her. She turned to the other girl in the dorm and walked over to her.

"Hey." she started, hoping that conversation wouldn't be too awkward. "I'm Nina.

"Hey, I'm Kyli." She said with a smile, glad she wouldn't be stuck with her two favourite people for company in the girls dorms.
"I find it best just to think of what's for tea when they start talking to you."
She added under her breath as a bit of a joke.

Nina smiled at Kyli's 'joke' as she glanced back over to Elsie and the other girl, who she worked out was called Donna. They were having an animated talk about some guy called Raika... [ not too up to date with news is Nina XD ]
Nina wanted to start a conversation, seeing as Elsie had already decided not to like her, Donna would follow her and Kyli might start talking about where she'd been for the last two years.
"Are all the girls in our year like those two?" she asked, grimacing slightly at the thought.
