[lol, third wheel leo! continue indeedy]
Tobi tried taking as deep a breath as possible without getting wierd glances from the people passing by as he walked down the main street. Curse that stupid Rosa slut, who did she think she was anyway, being all, myee ooh cenizozo, jesus. What a sad act.
anyway, i'm not bothered. am i? whatever. stoopid rosa. it just means he's even less likely to want to go out with me. but i've got joshua anyway, it's not like im a cenizo whore like rosa. going out with him twice, what a looser. wait, not that cenizo's lame. lol i'm so dumb with words i'm so glad no one can hear my thoughts sometimes.
He followed the curves in the road down to a less busy part of town, where bars and cafes were smaller and you could hear youself think.
ok, so where is that piece of heaven. argh! i cant remember which cafe i was supposed to meet him in! D: >
Tobi scanned the signs outside the shops to try and find one he found familiar. A large hand landed on his shoulder and a mans voice spoke to him.
"Are you lost therr sweety?"
Tobi whirled round.
"I-uh m. No, I'm just looking for my friend."
The man looking down at him smelt quite badly and it took some effort, even in Tobi's well mannered standards to not wrinkle his nose. It looked as though he hadn't shaved for a while either and stubble lined smile seemed a little strange.
"Wouldya like me t'take you where you needa go?"
The grip on his shoulder tightened slightly, Tobi flailed for an excuse to go.
"Um, no. I don't really know where- to.."
The man smiled and seemed to cast his eyes over him.
"Shall I keepya company? I'm a ver good listener."
"Um, umm. I- I-..."
"Hey!!"
A wonderfully familliar voice bounced across the cobbles and to Tobi's relief the strange man's grip on his shoulder slackened off hastily.
"Joshua!"
The distance between them became a few metres and it was clear from the look on Joshua's face that this man did not impress him.
"Who's this guy?" He asked, glaring at the bleary eyed stranger. "Is he giving you trouble?"
"Hey, buddy. Look, I'wuz jus arskin if she wuz lost. Thas all." He put his hands in the air in front of him to show innocence.
"Yeah right you were." Joshua muttered putting his arm around Tobi. The man backed off sheepishly and they headed into a cafe with pastel coloured flowers in the tubs outside.
"Are you alright, Tobi?" He asked, releasing his grip as they walked through the doors.
"Yeah, I'm fine. That was just a bit wierd. I'm glad you saw me though."
"Me too, God knows what that wierdo would'a done."
"He thought I was a girl." Tobi said, annoyedly, not exactly realising whatJoshua had meant.
"I noticed. Alright, here's our table." He replied, pulling Tobi into a small booth with striped seats.
Tobi smiled across the table at him happily.
"Fine, don't sit next to me." He joked.
Tobi frowned slightly. "But I thought-"
"I know, I know. I was kidding." He laughed and Tobi joined in after rolling his eyes in a 'duh' fashion.
They ordered drinks and settled into easy conversation about nothing in particular.
