Kik pulled out her pocket mirror. She raised her eyebrows at a giggling Elsie ''Eh mah gawd look at ma hair!'' She squealed as if a tart

Elsie laughed.
A 'finally, taking a little care of her appearance' could be heard muttered by someone in the group.
"OOmygod, look at that. How could she! Purple is sooo out!"
Their attentions had turned to a semi-celebrity-that-no-ones-ever-heard-of that was wearing rather a lot of purple.

Kik heard one of Elsie's friends slutty comment ''Oh my goodness guys! I forgot to tell you! Leo this concerns you loads!'' she whispered really loudly knowing they would hear it, she winked to her friends as if to say 'play along' and she drew them in and said in a really quiet whisper ''Ok act like I just told you that Elsie told me that she fancied Leo, ok?''

Elsie looked over from the corner of her eye. But was soon pulled back to the magazine by a squeal from Max, who had seen someone wearing the dreaded combo of peach and green.

May stifled a giggle and then said really loudly, "Oh. My. God. Really?!" she kicked Leo, hard, signalling that he needed to say something. He gave a slight nod and kicked her back, "What? Me? But...? Elsie? Me? What?!"

Leo clamped his hand over his mouth suddenly, "Oh cr[zz]! I knew there was something I'd forgotten to do!" He turned to May, "Maay? Could I possibly, just this once, will never happen again, copy your herbology homework??" May laughed, and reached behind her, "Go on then, and you may as well share it with Kik, as I'm sure she hasn't done it either!" Leo grinned, "Thanks, I owe you one!"
