Kyli wondered whether it would be politer to ditch her friends now that Sei and Kik had done so...
"I think I'm going to head to the library, finish that potions essay" she said.
"we didn't get a potions essay" said Charles, looking at kyli concerned.
"yeh, right, I meant the herbology homework" Kyli lied.
"cool" said CHarles and Kyli sighed in relief. then Charles said, "I know, I'll come with you and we can do it together!"
Kyli swore inside her head. how was she supposed to do what she wanted with Charles following her all the time??? but she didn't want to upset him... "yeh, ok" she said, hiding her reluctance.
