He said smiling and folding the letter up into one of his pockets.

"you're obsessed" said Kyli shaking her head. She debated going up to the boys dormitories to talk to Charles, but decided against it- she'd apologise later...
she made her way down to the great hall (and muffins!)

Charles took a few more deep breaths. He flicked a rubber band across the room. He doodled on a peice of parchment. Alright, enough time had passed for him to go downstairs. He wished they hadn't fought... maybe it was a bad omen? nah, that was a load of rubbish. They were just going to agree to disagree on the subject of Elsie, and all would be fine. He made his way down the common room...
... and was startled to find that both Sei and Kyli had disappeared.

Elsie was talking to Max and sitting on the sofa.
"Hey Charles."
She said cheerily.
"Kyli and Sei went down to dinner about five minutes ago if you're looking for them."

"oh... right" so she'd gone without him. and with Sei. he sighed and sat down heavily, wondering whether or not to follow them.

When Kyli entered the room, she saw Charles and made her way straight over to him, "Charles I'm really sorry about earlier, I didn't mean to fight!" she said, quickly.
Charles sighed in relief, so she was sorry, "nah, don't woryr about it- I'm sorry too"
Kyli turned red, and hugged him.
