She giggled and gave Kyli a couple of friendly pokes.
"Come on! Come on! Spill!! Spill Kyli!!"

Kyli blushed furiously red. 'aaargh! nooo! stop it!'
right on cue, Charles came bounding down the stairs.

She said in an excited whisper.

Before Kyli could bluff her way out, charles came to her rescue
"morning, Kyli" he said, walking over.
Kyli sighed in relief and turned to greet him.

Elsie grinned. Guessing it had been Charles.
"Hi Charles. How're you today!"
She said with a warm smile.

Charles smiled warmly back. He couldn't udnerstand Kyli's problem with Elsie... "good thanks" he replied.
Dan sailed past them, winking at Kyli. Then Chrissy went past too. "well, I'll just be off then" she said, braggingly [is not a word... ah well] "I mean, it's the trip to hogsmede today" she smiled superiorly, but Kyli just grinned, "don't get lost" she said, slightly mockingly. Chrissy turned red and raised a warning finger, "that was not my fault" she hissed. Then she turned on her heel and left.
Kyli remembered what Elsie had said about getting people from older years to buy presents, "wait! Chrissy!" she called, chasing after her, Chrissy stopped. "yes?"
"can you, erm, buy something for me?" Chrissy raised an eyebrow, "what?"
Then Kyli whispered something in her ear, for fear of Charles hearing her. Chrissy frowned, but nodded all the same, "alright..."
And then she was gone. Kyli turned to rejoin Charles.

Elsie watched. Was she getting her sister to buy something nice for Charles? How adorable.
"That's probably gonna be for you, y'know." She whispered, but pretended she hadnt as Kyli turned back to them.
Featherby swooped in through an open window with fairly large package attatched to his leg. He pearched a little weerily on the back of a sofa

Kyli saw featherby, and went over to see what the package was.

It was adressed to Sei, in Saire's writing. There was a letter attatched to the top and there was a small package wrapped in brown and red stripy wrapping paper.

Kyli unattatched it, and headed up to the boys dormitory to give it to him.
