Venn was standing on the platform with her cousin and his parents, pretending to listen to him prattle on about all his wonderful achievements and qualities.
"I mean, it's nice that you're in ravenclaw Vennera, but Gryfindor is most likely superior. I suppose it's ok to be smart and everything, but what good does it do you if you're a coward and always running away?"
"Yes, how wise of you Vièna."
"I mean, there was this one time, where I faced off a whoole crowd of Doxys without even knowing the correct way of handling them. But I sure as hell didn't run away. Ohoho no."
"Yes, how brave of you Vièna."
This was him on a quiet day.

Tobi was being smothered by his mother, who was both weeping hysterically at the thought of her darling being spirited away to boarding school, and immensley proud of him for being in such a wonderful school.
"I hope you're not friendly with those two though darling." She said, looking rather judgingly at Donna and Elsie who were squealing loudly as they greeted each other in equally short skirts.
"O-of course I'm not mummy. My friends are um, over there." He said gesturing vaguely at a crowd.
"You need to make sure you get their phone numbers and adresses this term. I want to seee some of your lovely friends."
"You shouldn't be so shy lad." Said his father, joining in the conversation and giving him a friendly slap on the shoulder."
'Oww. I think he just broke my shoulder.' Tobi thought, but grinned and nodded. "Will do Dad."
"That's the spirit. You'll have to set a good example to Maisy when she joins don't forget."
"I will. You can count on me." He said smiling, tyring not to think about his general position in class.
"Grand."
"Oh darling, I hope she turns out just like you. She was so dissapointed that she had to be at school today."
Tobi felt himself blush a little with the earnest compliment from his mother. Perhaps this term he would really buckle down hard.
"Well, lets get you on the train then, son." Said his father, lugging his trunk up off the trolley and hauling it over to the edge of the platform. Tobi gave them both one last, slightly emotional squeeze, before maneuvering his case onto the train and into the carridge he normally shared with his friends.

Cenizo couldn't be here because he was busy waking up from his coma in a hospital bed in some ward in St. Mungo's.
Donna was talking to Elsie and Tobi who, i assume, have arrived.
Jack was being boring and looking out the window of the compartment he was in.
[oh by the way, we actually do need Kik to be deported cus Nina is guna be in yr 2 gry for yr 6 and 7]

Sophia rubbed her eyes and yawned; waiting up for athi last night had left her a smidge more tired than she had hoped.
"Perk'up m'love. Ar'n'tch'exciteda-bout sein'y'friendsa-gain." [ok, that took way too long]
"Course Iyam athi. I w's just waitin' up late last night'f'r-y'."
"Sorrya-bout'at. Business'and'the like."
She sighed and gave a mock scowl as he ruffled her newly cut hair. Pulling at it, she realised how short it was in comparison to last term, the hairdresser had clearly thought that her hair was straight, and misjudged how much she had needed to cut off. She willed the roots to go into overdrive.
[where do you think the accents should go] "Well, I'll help you get your trunk on the train, but I've got to be off, duckie."
"Ohhh, athi! You're suddenly working tons! Is it-" She paused, remembering where she was. "-thingie, making you do ... things."
"Like a hammer to a nail, my dear."
"Homph. And I had to have dinner with him that one time without you."
"Well he hasn't killed you yet." He laughed. "So it can't have been too bad."
She sulked quietly and allowed herself to be lead to the train to help with her suitcase. He loaded it into the compartment she pointed out to him before hugging her , promising to write lots, yes lots, yes really, honestly, goodbye.
She waited a few minutes until he had gone before sneaking off the train to talk to her friends.

Sei was beggining to feel a little anxious about catching the train; Dr. Drever, Kallan even, da- no, Raika? The man with the car and the ability to drive.
That would work for now.
Sei was beggining to feel a little anxious about catching the train; the man with the car and the ability to drive was still out getting bread for breakfast from the bakery. Fair enough, it was only a fifteen minute drive from here to the station, but then there was loading the trunk, saying hi to everyone, not to mention actually getting through the barrier.
But even if they ate in the car, they would be cutting it close. It was now a little bit past 10:30.
He chewed at the corner of his mouth.

Tenuka rushed through the barrier with her flushed parents. "Nothing like this at Carpia . . ." Misae mumbled.
Tenuka grinned. "Leave it Mom." She hugged both her parents and said her fare wells. Her parents saying the usual things about staying safe and working hard. Tenuka doing he usual thing of saying yes quickly so that she could rush of and talk to friends.
She walked through the crowd to the train; her luggage following a little way behind her, directed by Misae. She hopped on the train and moved out the way while the trunk followed.

She walked down the train looking for Sophia, Darius, Nigel, Dominic, Tim or even Meally. She hadn't spotted anyone until the very last compartment. She opened the door, heaved her trunk in and sat down.
"Hey Darius. Good Holiday?" she asked smiling at him.

Darius looked up with only his eyes, barely shifting from his sprawl across the chair. He recognised Tenuka and nodded, "yeh, t'was alright I s'pose" he said, casually, "and you?"

[ok, let's just inventy this new character... she's actually been in g1 (now g2) with sei and kyli and cenizo and the other guys for a year and a term now, even though we're juuuust inventing her, and she actually gets on well with them, and surprisingly, her evil boyfriend. anyway, without further ado...]
May gave her parents the usual farewell; an awkward hug as they attempted to say goodbye. She smiled weakly, and then headed onto the train; her smile becoming genuine at the prospect of seeing her friends again. She noticed Kyli in a carriage, and pushed her way in,
"hey kyli!"
Kyli looked up grinning, "oh wow, May! I haven't seen you in ages" She shunted over on the seat to allow her friend to sit down. This new, totally unheard of previously character, sat down.
