As dusk falls

Kyli made a sign at Elsie's back and weighed the book in her hand, wandering when she should throw it...

"Dont go all quiet on me Kyli!"
Elsie called whilst sorting something out on the other side of her bed.
"Dont you agree with me! I cant wait to see how Sei shows off tomorrow! Perhaps he'll blow something up! I have a feeling this week is going to be hilarious! I mean, he didnt even know what a chocolate frog was for heavens sake! How dumb can you get!! And yet he still manages to set something alight. I think he'd been practising that and was just waiting for an occasion to use it to make a scene!" She babbled.

Without really thinking, Kyli released her hold of the book, it flew across the room and landed.. thwack..

With a small scream that was over exaggerated by miles Elsie fell off her bed. thud. She got up rubbing her back
"Kyli! You're supposed to throw pillows! Why did you do that! Sheesh, you're gonna be more anti social than Sei or something!"

[mely]

"First of all, Sei's not anti-social, he just doesn't like speaking to idiots like you

"second of all, he's not showing off, he can't help it! If you'd been there you'd know, but you don't care about first hand knowledge, you just want something you can gossip out with your mates, don't you?

"and thirdly, if you want me to throw a pillow, I will"

Kyli hurled her pillow across the room. It wouldn't do as much damage as the book, but she'd definitely put some force behind it.

Elsie fell over again with the force of the pillow. She sat up, pulling it off of her face.
"Sheesh!! You're getting a bit protective! It's like you fancy the guy or something!"
She said standing up and brushing her hair back down because it had frizzed up.

[mely]

"he's my MATE," Kyli fumed, "aren't I allowed to stick up for my mate? Or am I supposed to just sit back and let you b[zz]s[zz] him, with all that cr[zz] about him being an attention seeker?"

Kyli paused, "But I guess you've never had any real friends, so you don't understand, do you?"

[.magnarock.]

Elsie laughed.
"You dont think I have any real friends. I've just spent the whole day with them! You really are a bit mad Kyli you know that."
She said smiling and getting into bed.

[mely]

"I said real friends" Kyli muttered. She retrieved her pillow and began getting changed.

Elsie snuggled up to her comfy pillow and thought about tomorrows lessons.
