Oh no. His eyes widened.
"I. .didnt. ."
He looked at his hand.
"No. .It's not that. .I. .I. .Havent. ."
He tried to wipe it off his hands, it stung the cut, he winced as blood smeared over his hands.
"Kyli . . you've got to stop me. . I dont want to die, but sometimes I just. . feel. . so. ."
He hid his head in his hands and shook with tears.

Kyli put her arm around him. She knew what to say. She'd only heard it once before, but she knew it word for word.
"Death is a serious matter. It isn't something that you can undo, take back, apologise for and move on. It is the end. When life stops, it stops completely. There's nothing in your life worth killing yourself for. You've got to keep fighting. Chin up and keep fighting. Fight until the end," she paused "Look Sei, I know it's hard for you. I know how you're feeling. And I will help you. Of course I'll help you."
Kyli decided that he did need a hug. *hugs him*

He leaned against her, running her words through his mind, trying desperately to convince himself she was right. Of course she was. Just keep fighting. His tears subsided and he sat there, feeling friendship for the first time.

He nodded and wiped his eyes with his sleve leaving a faint red smear. He stood up and pulled his sleves further down for comfort.
