Kyli was feeling drowsy. The lesson seemed annoying, tedious and pointless. On top of that, the professor had an irritating habit of being able to tell when notes were being passed, so she had no opportunity to speak to any of her mates, since she'd been seated at a table with Lily, Saffron and, horror of all horrors, Elsie.
The fumes of perfume made her head feel heavy, and she felt her head slipping foward...
She found herself walking down a little lane... it wound its way down a sloping hill, past towering trees. As she made her way down the path, it became gloomier and gloomier. At the end of the path she saw a group of men. They were standing in a huddle, dressed in black cloaks. And they were arguing,
"It was stupid!" she heard one say, "stupid I say! we can't go killing everyone who gets in our way! we've got to find more effective ways of dealing with enemies!"
"Like what?!" Kyli recognised that voice, but wished she didn't.
"If we hadn't stepped in then, we'd have been totally screwed. Harold was going to the authorities, Macka, and there was no other way of stopping him"
"I think we've become distracted" came an icy voice, "from the real purpose of this meeting." the men stepped back, leaving a thin, man standing in their midst. He had a hood covering his face, but his presence seemed to radiate evil, "we are not gathered here to discuss whether we should or should not have killed that muggle scum. We are here to discuss how we are going to successfully recover the Diamonte Glies without its assistance,"
and then the vision blurred, and Kyli was staring up at her teacher, flushing red.
