Kyli came running into the hospital wing. She beamed as she saw all of her friends awake. She'd been so bored yesterday, she hadn't concentrated in any of the lessons. In her hand was the letter from Saire. In her pocket was a copy of the one that she had written in reply.

Sei finished the prayer he was on and opened his eyes.
"Oh. Hi Kyli."
He saw the letter.
"Havent you binned that thing yet?"

''I guesss so.'' Kik answered Cenizo's question ''Kyli!'' and broke into a fit coughing again. She wiped her hand on a tissue and waved with one hand. Charles next ''Hey Charles!'' She turned to Cenizo ''Cenizo. What does your dad do for a living?'' Kik asked scratchly ''I heard the healer say something last night, it was probably wrong.'' Kik hoped she was wrong. Then she turned to Sei ''Did you get everything?'' There she had succesfully talked to everyone in the room! Actually it was more of a whisper-talk, but still...

"Kik, shut up!" Charles said, half laughing, "you have got to rest"
kyli rushed over to Charles and gave him a big hug. He winced slightly, but smiled all the same. Then Kyli turned to Kik,
"I'm so glad you're not dead... I heard what happpened and I was really worried"

Kyli was tempted to give her a hug too, but she didn't risk it.
"I was so worried when I heard" she said.
She wished she'd been there with Kik, but, once again, she'd missed it. Whenever her friends needed her, she wasn't there. She was so useless
