Kyli shook her head, "your good at lying, but you haven't explained the whole neck thing" she said, "what do you keep expectin to find there?"

He jumped slightly.
"Oh. Just. Nothing."
He said shaking his head with a smile.
"I just used to. . . have a rash there, and I keep thinking its come back." He lied, hoping it wasnt too obvious.
"Anyway, tell me the other charm. I'm dying to know!"

"like I said, I won't tell you until you tell me" Kyli was sure that something was definitly out of place.

He made an annoyed sound.
"For goodness sake Kyli there's nothing wrong! You'd be a little on edge too if you'd just fallen from a broom."

"Fine" said Kyli "if you don't want to tell me, don't"

She felt like yelling at him to stop being so moody, or storming from the room. But that would do little good.

There was an akward pause.

He glared at the floor.
"Why do you need to know anyway."
He said quietly.

"because I care!" Kyli said, exasperated, "your my mate! Is it a crime to care about my mates?"

He stared at the foot of his bed.
"No." He mumbled.
A second later he continued.
"I. . It's silly really. I used to, have this. ." He paused, still not too keen on revealing anything. "Rosary. I used to have it round my neck, and hold it when I was feeling, a little like this. But. . I lost it. Or someone took it or something, anyway its gone now so. Yeah."
He sighed.
"Thats the story." He said ever so slightly sarcastically.
